Course Information:

Interested in a career in medicine? Pharmacy is a new course that you might want to check out! 

  • Experience hands-on learning in pharmacy-like setting.

  • Gain knowledge about medication and their uses, medical terminology, and communication skills related to the healthcare field.

  • Prepare for the Certified Pharmacy Technician exam that you will be eligible to take when you are 18+.

Dual Credit:

Ivy Tech (9 credits)

• HLHS 100 Intro to Health Careers (3 cr)  • HLHS 101 Medical Terminology (3 cr) • HLHS 102 Essential Anatomy & Physiology (3 cr)

Certification:

CPT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) • AHA BLS CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers • AED
