What is the purpose of the meeting?
 

The purpose of this meeting is to share more information about JELCC with our stakeholders as well as fulfill new federal Perkins legislation that requires every CTE District around the country to conduct a Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) discussion every other year. The legislation requires representatives from various groups be invited to engage in the review of CTE program and student performance data.

• Dual Credit & Certifications
• Governor's Work Ethic Certificate
• Future Trends, including JELCC Vision 2025
• Perkins V & Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) - What is the CLNA?

Will I receive PGP (Professional Growth Points)?

 

You will receive a Professional Development certificate by request. Hours can be applied towards the 15-hour externship requirement (HB 1002).

If I need a substitute teacher to cover my class, will JELCC help with costs?

JELCC will reimburse your school for the cost of the sub. Paperwork can be pick up at meeting and must be completed and submitted by deadline.
