I am the 2nd year Cosmetology Instructor. I have been a licensed Cosmetologist for 14 years and a licensed Cosmetology instructor for 5 years. Seeing our students start as young teenagers and growing into licensed Cosmetology professionals is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Outside of school I am a very proud mom that stays busy with my 3 children's activities including orchestra, gymnastics, and baseball.
I am the first year Cosmetology teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University with a focus in secondary education. I received my Cosmetology certificate from Aveda Fredrics Institute and also taught Cosmetology there for 8 years. Before teaching I worked at Penzone salon and spa in Columbus Ohio for 7 years. My favorite part of teaching is watching the excitement a student has when they master a skill that was once difficult for them. Outside of school I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and 2 children.
I am a licensed Cosmetologist and Beauty Culture Instructor. I am a Cosmetology Instructional Assistant with J. Everett Light Career Center. I have been in the beauty industry for over 10 years. I am a lifelong Indianapolis resident and graduated from Broad Ripple High School. I have a husband, 2 children and 2 cats. I love all things hair and true crime podcast/shows. I look forward to helping students reach their full potential!
