
This program offers the opportunity of an one hour academic credit in Advanced Life Science: Animal Science for each semester. They also will be offered an introduction to the science and art of providing professional support to veterinarians.
Advanced Veterinary Assisting
is offered to the second year to give the students greater depth into veterinary nursing. Students will also be introduced to post-secondary opportunities in Veterinary Science. Hands on experiences will be provided via extended laboratory opportunities in veterinary offices, hospitals, local shelters and stables.

Our Youth Organizarion is:

- Students will also be given the opportunity to join the professional youth organization of
Health Occupations Students of America. They will elect officers,
hold meeting, fund raise and do community service projects.
These activities are included in
the classroom curriculum. They
may also qualify to participate in
the State Leadership Conference and Competition held in April.
