The primary focus of this freshmen alternative program is to prepare students for a successful high school career.
- NCTS students receive extra support in core academic areas
- NCTS students benefit from small class sizes. In this small class setting, students receive individual attention from teachers and mentors. Instruction is differentiated and allows for flexible pacing.
- Technology is a key component in all NCTS classes. Students learn computer skills that range from keyboarding to navigating internet research to creating slideshows, movies, and publications
- NCTS students participate in field trips, listen to guest speakers, and enjoy social events throughout the year. These activities encourage personal and social development
