The Emergency Services Program will require students to wear and maintain
uniforms. As a cadet enrolled in either of these two programs, you will be
required to wear your uniform (during class time) each day. You can expect to
spend approximately $100 for the basic uniform. There will also be program
specific items, which you will need to purchase including a stethoscope. A lab
and textbook fee will also be assessed.
Experiences outside the school day will be required. Each student will
participate in public safety education events and apparatus ride-alongs. Training will also include water/rope rescue and hazardous materials support.
Each student will also become certified in CPR and First Aid. Physical fitness
will be a weekly component of each program’s curriculum.
