NEWSWORHY...

The J. Everett Light Career Center Dental Clinic has received a $2500 grant from the Washington Township Foundation. The clinic provided free dental care to the students of Washington Township. In
2009, the dental clinic will open two months earlier than normal to treat students who are unable to receive dental care otherwise. Potential students are referred to the clinic by the student’s school nurse or township social workers. These services would not be possible without the over 20
volunteer dentists from the community. Last year the following dentists made it happen: Dr. Joe Forgey, Dr. Steven Hockett, Dr. Heather Ireland, Dr. Donald Klein, Dr. Gerald Lande, Dr. Lee Michaelis,
Dr. Lee Mitchell, Dr. Jack Nicewander, Dr. Erin Phillips, Dr. Michael Princell, Dr. Steven Richwine, Dr. Lynn Scott, and Dr. Robert Taylor. Many of these dentists volunteered more than once! Thank you
Washington Township Foundation and community dentists for taking care of our children.
