One or two year program, two or three hours per day Prerequisite: 1 year of college prep Algebra and Keyboarding Related College or Technical School Majors: Programming, Systems Analyst, Web Page Design Job Opportunities: Web page designer, Junior programmer In today’s business world there is a shortage of people trained to develop custom software programs, to maintain existing programs, and to develop and maintain web sites. This course is designed to prepare students to take on these roles. The class offers curriculum for a beginner as well as a student with background in software or web development. Each student will learn how to analyze a business situation and develop programs to address this situation using up-to-date software and languages. A sample of first year topics/activities:
