| One or two year program, two or three hours per day
Prerequisite: Keyboarding Related College or Technical School Majors: Business, Office Management
Job Opportunities: Professional offices, retail business, insuranceStudents will perform activities in a simulated office atmosphere that duplicates a modern office in physical appearance, equipment, atmosphere, and learning experience. Students have the opportunity to learn various software packages used in offices today. Additional activities are designed to reinforce previously learned business skills such as telephone usage, oral and written communications, job securement techniques, positive human relations, records management, and other related skills.

A sample of second year topics/activities: Supervised work experience under direction of Lab Coordinator
Supply cost to student: Approximately $15 for club dues and supplies It is also possible to earn college credits from Ivy Tech State College for this course. |
