If you are considering our Nursing program, we strongly encourage you to attend an information session. A financial aid officer makes a presentation at each TEAS test and during the Information Sessions. Until a student has been accepted into the program, Financial Aid officers will only be able to discuss general information with a student. Our school offers Federal Stafford loans and Federal Pell Grant. We also accept tuition reimbursement from your employer.
At this time students who are interested in receiving financial aid need to file a 2008-2009 FAFSA. Please select our school code, 016285, that way we will receive a copy of your FAFSA. You will need your 2007 tax return to complete this. Once you have been officially accepted into the LPN program, the financial aid office will need a copy of your Federal tax return and W-2's. If you are a dependent student, we will also need a copy of your parent's tax return and W-2's. The FAFSA classifies a dependent student as someone who is under 24 years of age, and is not any of the following: married, have dependants, an award of the court, or a veteran of the U.S. Armed forces. If you are under 24 and living on your own and/or supporting yourself, this does not qualify you as an Independent student.
We do offer financial aid depending on what a student qualifies for financially according to the FAFSA form. To speak to our Financial Aid office, call Casey Salmon at 317-259-5275 ext 3014 .
Tuition for the Nursing program costs approximately $9,000 with additional expenses of $2,000 for textbooks, uniforms, etc. |
