J. Everett Light School of Practical Nursing is fully accredited by the Indiana State Board of Nursing, North Central Association Commission of Accreditation and School Improvement, and candidacy status granted. *Full accreditation pending with National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
More of our graduates pass the licensing exam than the national average.
The School was recognized as an Indiana Vocational Education Adult Program “Award of Excellence Winner 2000”
The School of Practical Nursing offers an integrated program of theory and practice. Learning experiences consist of lectures, group discussion, field trip, demonstrations, group activities, computer assisted learning, laboratory and clinical practice. Clinical experiences includes care of adults, as well as maternity, pediatrics, and leadership
